There are 40 burn camps in the United States that make a huge difference in how pediatric burn survivors feel about themselves. The Burn Advocates Network brings Hydrobikes to these children. Hydrobikes Ontario is proud to be aligned with The Burn Advocates Network, and to help raise awareness towards the plight of burned children and Veterans. Burn Advocates Network President Samuel Davis is now the proud owner of the largest Hydrobike fleet on the planet!

Hydrobikes Ontario supports and sponsors The Burn Advocates Network whose mission is to support the burn survivors and burn camps in the following ways:

Support burn camps by sending Hydrobikes and volunteers to every camp in the US.

Recruit burn survivors who have not heard about the many benefits of attending.

Raising funds to enable select burn camps to stay open for one additional week.

Recruiting EMT and firefighters to participate as camp counselors.

Provide musical instruments and instruction to campers.

With few exceptions, combat survivors of catastrophic burn injuries suffer from PTSD.

That number is small in relation to the hundreds of thousands of Iraq Veterans who are currently experiencing but not getting any treatment for their condition.

In the week before Veteran’s Day 2007 Burn Advocates Network began a campaign to amass 100,000 letters on petition signatures to get our point across. BAN will have a letter on their website that you can sign and e-mail.
